Perhaps we are all desperate for
a) the weather to improve
b) to get our first proper fix of the season next week!

moondog, all our stuff is in the corner of the lounge apart from the clothes which I keep adding jumpers and fleeces to!

I noticed that! I'm part way through packing and am trying my best to keep it to a minimum. How many jumpers, trousers and tops do you lot take for a long weekend?

And more importantly ..... has anyone seen the weather report?

Well there is a reason it's called the lake District!

Do you mean clients cancelling Anteater? Or sites cancelling because of boggy conditions?

We're fair-weather campers, and are waiting for a reliable forecast before committing ourselves Grin

What do you go by as a reliable forecast for the Lakes? Atm it's looking as though it might be dry-ish on top next week, but it's going to be very soggy under-foot/under-tent!

PS Ds2 is having great fun with his soldering ... and remains keen and determined despite the kits he's made not actually working properly!

if he gets stuck with the soldering give me a yell, Dh is obsessive and has a business doing suchlike- Maplins type kits I presume?

We're heading sarf, thankfully. Phew!

We are fine here but loads of urgent calls from people whos hols have been cancelled due to the weather, no idea which parks are waterlogged but there must be a few as we get a 'soggy' call every 5 mins..!

So pleased ds2 is enjoying his solder..
When I was young I enjoyed making a tin car from solder..dont tell anyone tho!

Whereabouts are you absed Anteater? it's been rather nice here for a few days now- showers, but mostly sun. A bit chilly today but you know, we have fleeces. As long as DH can pitch in a dry spell he's OK, but we have theme park tickets booked (PAultons) so at least one day is a preference, if not a requisite at £52!
