Camping

I'm on campsite nightmare! :(

Have been here since Friday and am very glad to say we are going home tomorrow. The dog hot kicked by a horse on first day and now has staples in his head after visit to local vet.
We are crammed in, in a do it anyway fashion next to idiots who let their six kids (two families) out to play at 6am!! But not before the baby has woken us all up atleast twice in the night (mum says his teething and has nappy rash)
To the other side I had a family who thought it was good to project movies onto their wind shields at full blast till gone 11pm (I mean seriously why would you bring projector camping!?)
The site has way too much concreate and water just floods downwards! There is no bread in the shop, the onsite takeaway is shut all week and I'm paying stupid prices for all this!!
Oh by the way anyone want my folding camper??

Make sure you leave a review on UK campsites - just the concrete and poor amenities is enough to put me off - without the neighbours from hell :(

Sounds awful. I imagine you can't move pitches or you would have done alreadySad

Oh, don't get rid of the FC! Whereabouts are you? Second Zippy about putting a review on Uk campsite.

It won't seem so bad once you get home. It will be one of those holidays that you talk about for years to come. Do you remember that time when we had the neighbours from hell......

Ha! when you said concrete and onsite takeaway I immediately thought of Holmsley! We had early risers with small children when we went there too, several of them had harmonicas. AngryBut the worst was the man who snored so loudly people kept arriving from the far reaches of the campsite with torches to find out who was making the noise. They all stood around shining the torches on his tent presumably trying to make him turn over or something but no one had the nerve to actually wake him up.Grin

Ah, I'd guessed new forest, but not sure which one. Those horses are anything but cute-I hope you dog is ok now :(

We had a hellish trip one year in Cornwall, with hindsight we should have left, if it ever happens again we will do.
