I'm braving WOMAD this year for the first time. I've done my fair share of festivals but not for a few years, and never with ds (aged 7). I'm thinking that it's going to be great, especially all the children's stuff, but that's just from reading bits and bobs. Will there be lots for us to do, as well as the music? No Dh coming, as he's working, but I will be with my sister so some adult company.
Has anyone been recently or is going this year?
Apart from normal pared down camping stuff (I'm not up for carrying too much) is there anything else that's essential to take? Especially for ds?
Any tips, advice or general encouragement much appreciated...
