First camping trip - north west / dales area - help please?

We've just bought our first tent - higear nevada 8 - and are looking for a site for our first trip in north west england / yorkshire dales. We have two girls aged 5 and 7, and would love somewhere just for a couple of nights that is friendly and beautiful with stuff to do for the girls.

We are so excited about it but want to get this first trip right so the girls enjoy it as much as we want them to!
