leading on from best camping food... has anyone ever bought a drinkiable wine box?

Only review I have found is for Fern Bay Sav Blanc from tesco. I want a rose now.

<<ticker ticker... only 9 days till camping... just ordered a load of stuff on supersaver delivery & feeling a bit nervous...fucking period due while we are away... and i cant find the airpump [inserts random gif of rotating tent with bunting]>>

Yes they are, but if I have tro drink gallons of the stuff I want it to be...err....drinkable, not sicky sweet or eggy or something!

Tesco's own brand French Red was surprisingly drinkable, that was several years ago when I used to run amdram social events and we were after large quantities of cheap but nice plonk, dunno if it still exists...

These days I luuurve White Grenache and thankfully the lovely Ernest & Julio do their variety in box form. Which tends not to last too long....blush

Fern bay is lovely, I got some after seeing it recommended on a tv cookery show. its really far too drinkablegrin
