help/advice needed for canopy awning please

hello fellow campers

I have a much beloved Outwell Kansas 5 as per picture

we love it and use it for festival mostly

now, we are planning on getting more ambitious with out camping this year, and we feel we could do with an extension of some sort or an awning which would provide us with some cover at the front - the dome shape at the entrance/porch is a pain, particularly when we want to cook and it rains a little
also a bit of extra 'living space' would be great but not really essential and I don't want to spend too much

so any advice would be greatly appreciated

TIA

Having borrowed this excellent tent and pondered the same question Grin, my current suggestions would be either

a Quechua tarp

or

an Outwell tarp.

Have not checked the measurements yet so don't know if they'll work. But saw them on other threads so must be good idea.

I did think about a Quechua pop-up shelter too.

thanks copperWink

I know that I saw something last year which was just perfect but had sold out, it said it was compatible with Vango and Outwell tents

stupidly I forgot to take the details

am looking for something with more on the side maybe

We need things that would fit into our tiny little car. I haven't done any serious measurements/comparisons yet but have to consider how to squash everything in a micra if we want a bigger tent. So if smalll tent + tarp works out smaller then we'll go for that. Unlikely though, perhaps? Will think about it next month.
