I really need to lose between 0.5-1 stone but recently with what we've been having for evening meals DH has lost weight too and he really doesn't need to! Anyone else have this? Our problem is I eat more and snack more during the day so need a light supper, but he hardly eats anything more than a sandwich during the day. He's happy to eat the same meals and I don't think he's noticed he's lost weight but I have and I feel guilty! Dinners are usually a ton of veg with some kind of protein, thinking I should add extra carbs to his?

Yes, I am in the same position. Trying to come up with ways to bump up his evening calories as well. One thing that worked recently was he had pasta while I had courgette 'noodles'. So yeah, stuff like maybe make a big batch or rice or something for one week and add it to his plate? x

Thanks for replying, as the weather has got colder we've gone back to more stodgy meals like cottage pie, chilli con carne etc and I'm dishing out onto a tea plate for me and a big plate for him! Works well for now but still wouldn't work for v low calerie salad type meals...maybe a fattening dressing for him!

I am in the same position. My husband has bigger portions than me, I'll have half a plate of veg and he will have just a few spoonfuls and the rest of his plate is the main meal (cottage pie etc). I buy nuts which my husbands adds to his breakfast to up his calories and he has started to eat more through the day. I buy protein bars, granola bars, full fat yoghurt which he takes to work with his sandwich. He's also started adding mor fillings to his sandwiches. Good luck!
