Not really as it isn't something that is on-going I suppose.

But what hope does anyone have against a PTA when they make a complaint to the school? Does the head teacher have any degree of authority over the PTA?

Members of the PTA have picked on my friend and accused her of something she hasn't done. This has been done over social media. My friend has not been named but everyone knows who 'it' is.

I know she hasn't done anything wrong. I have seen the proof.

Some advice would be great.

If there's a proof, isn't a lawsuit an option? Slander and all? Or is not that serious yet?

Trial by media is rough justice, to be despised. Your friend's accusers must provide evidence or retract and apologise publicly if she is innocent. Otherwise, to the law courts for defamation/libel/slander.
