Right having posted yesterday to say I wanted to keep bf I have had a change of heart. Full morning sickness hit me this morning like a ton of bricks and the memory of what last time was like has come flooding back.
I think its going to be too much for me to carry on (sad but realistic I think) so want to stop bf soon. DD already has 3oz formula every night (she is 7mo and has had 3oz formula every night since 12 weeks) so I know she is ok with a bottle, but how do I do it?? She has 3 bf a day, do I cut them out one by one or go cold turkey?
I did a search but just mostly saw things about cabbage leaves!

I would not recommend going cold turkey with the breast-feeding - recipe for mastitis - I dropped the feeds very very gradually.

She may well self wean soon as the milk changes composition, my DD did I think when I was around 14 weeks and I had terrible morning sickness (I won't tell you how long it went on for..) Cut them out one a day, leaving bedtime till last usually.

Thanks guys, sorry I didn't come back yesterday. I tried to cut one feed out yesterday but she refused the bottle - I really hadn't seen that coming!!

Maybe try cup feeding? DS1 cut down massively when I got pg with DS2 from about 6 weeks - apparently it changes flavour then.
