Infant feeding

8m baby developing odd BF habits - anyone else?

For some time now DS2 has been training for the 2012 olympics, gymnastic BF event. I honestly don't know how I still have nipples attached.

But now he has started doing something that really freaks me out - twiddling with my nipple whilst he is feeding from it. It is really annoying and I have to constantly move his hand away.

Oh and he has taken to playing with my nips whenever he is not feeding and he gets the chance - and here is the strange bit - he LAUGHS his head off the whole time like they are the funniest things he has ever seen

Does anyone else's baby do any of this, and if so have you any idea how to get them to STOP IT?! (Apart from the last one)

I think it is quite common, so I wouldn't worry. My DS did it. He is nearly 3 now and still twiddles when very sleepy if I am cuddling him while bfing DS2.

Now when I heard people talk about nipple twiddling I assumed they meant the other nipple, not the one they feed from.

I can't be doing with it TBH. It feels uncomfortable.
