in mother usually deep, stabbing pains in the breast, during and beween feeds.
usually very painful when baby latches on
pink shiny nipples

babycan be fussy and come onand off breast due to sore m9outh
white on tongue/inside of cheeks,lips that doesn;t wipe off

I have got thrush on my nips and the symptoms below are pretty accurate!! I thought having thrush on the boobs would mean having some kind of wierd cottage cheese like goo but no, its itchy painful boobs, i thought it was a touch od ezcema until I saw the white stuff on my babies lips. Gutting, and no idea how we have got it! Doctor can prescribe some good oral gel for baby to clear it up and some cream for you though if you do have it! best wishes! Sarah
