Bugger! Antibiotics now - what do I need to know?

After finally getting DD on the boob successfully, it now looks like I may have some retained placenta. Visited the GP and she has started me on Amoxicillin and Metronadizole - GP, Pharmacist and BFN have all reassured me that the two drugs I'm taking are safe enough to continue breastfeeding. I'm awaiting an appointment for an untrasound scan to see what is happening in the uterus (15 days post-partum today).

So I guess now we would be at risk of thrush so I'm taking a probiotic in an effort to keep the gut bugs up. Is there anything else I can do/should be doing/should be avoiding?
Thanks

Oh that is a pain. I was going to suggest a probiotic - try and get the best one possible...

Thanks Picante - the one I have is a tablet with 4 billion bugs in it, so I'm hoping that is good and strong.
