Oh just everywhere. I don't hide away. Just go about my normal business really but with baby in tow. Probably most recently on a night out with work colleagues when DS2 was 10 weeks old.

Indian restaurant
Bench in shopping centre
In my car (alot)
On the moors (the sheep were feeding their lambs - was sweet)
On a bench outside a pub

I spent most of my early bf-ing days with dd3 on a park bench. She was born in July and with a 7yo and a 4yo on school holidays, I very quickly realised it was that or go insane

Also,
In the World Museum
In Wetherspoons
In numerous cafe's
In the car

and I was an extremely self-conscious public feeder and only fed in public when absolutely necessary ...it was just necessary quite often ...

On the beach
On a plane
On a train
In a church (during a wedding... was a tiny bit awkward getting us both to our feet for the hymns)
Walking around the Country Living tent at Hampton Court flower show with the aid of a sling (it was raining or we'd have been outside)

Pretty much anywhere now I am more competent at doing it. Although a woman did go to have a peep at the "little baybeee" when at Hampton Court and got a bit of a shock. DS has just spat the nipple out and she got an eye-full

Just about everywhere - on Ferry, buses, trains, petrol stations, in paddling pool in our local playground. Most bizarre place have breastfed though was in a dentists chair (had a crumbling tooth when DS2 was only a couple of weeks old so had to have emergency appointment and take him with me)

I too try and do it anywhere and everywhere..

Indian restaurant
Cafe's, Coffee shops
Libray
Yorkshow show-Sheep stand, Beer tent, Grass verge!
Supermarkets
Golf course, Club house!

Would like to be able to do it in a sling on the move but not mastered that yet.
DS 15wk now likes so have lots of breaks with smiles in between so i feel like im constantly flashing but others say not!!

I fed once during a funeral. The chap who'd died was very well loved and the little chapel was full to bursting with more people outside. I was in the kitchen with the doors open to the chapel together with about 12 other people mostly very elderly. We were sitting on the countertops and on fold up chairs which filled the floor area. DS2 was quiet and happy. I was sad but glad to be there.

Anywhere my children are hungry. They are almost always hungry in crowded places. I get more self conscious the bigger they get, but fed dd (14 months) in a crowded train carriage last night. It was either that or let her wail all the way home and try to rip my top off.

In IKEA - very discreetly, with my 3 yr old son following behind with his t-shirt tucked under his chin and a doll laying across his chest!!

Another one in IKEA - but not at all discreetly, top yanked down while sitting in the exit to the car park.

We've also fed:

In McDonalds
Costa Coffee (with 5 other BF Mums!)
On the Beach
In the Park
At a Wedding (huge burp at a VERY quiet moment in the ceremony)
At the Hairdressers (under the gown!)
Answering the front door
On a Plane (9hr flight - we fed lots!)
In the Bath
In the Swimming Pool (literally!)
At the Dinner table (home and restaurants)
In Synagogue
In front of; husband/sister/Mum/Brother/Dad/Step-Dad/Shop Assistants/Rabbi/Doctor/Dentist/Hairdresser

And ANYWHERE that I've been that's not on the list!

I'm very for you, cheesesarnie, and very with your ill-mannered and ill-informed GP surgery staff!!
