It's a bit of a long-winded story: have been painstakingly collecting and freezing breastmilk for my excl bf 20 week old dd for a couple of weeks. This is for a wedding, this Saturday, when I'm a bridesmaid, to allow dh to feed her most of the day.
This afternoon, when we were about to leave for the airport to fly to London, dd's grandparents accidentally tipped her out of her pram onto concrete. Thankfully, DD is fine. We've spent the last four hours at the hospital, she's been x-rayed, and got away with a big red bump. We're also cleared to fly tomorrow morning.
However, the frozen milk, which was packed away in a cool bag in my suitcase, has half defrosted while we were in the hospital. Can I stick it back in the freezer overnight? Or can it go in the fridge until Saturday (bar about four hours in a cool bag for travel time)?
Any advice please? Dont' want to poison her on top of her awful fall...
