bottle envy

my ds is 10 months old and bf i now go to work 2 nights a week which means him having a bottle to go to sleep with on the nights im at work as i leave to early to put him to bed anyway to get to the point ds has never slept well waking every couple of hors untill he was about 8 months when i gave in and did cc (reluctantly) it worked and within the space of a few days he started sleeping 6.45 through till 5.30-6.30 i normally wake up feed him and put him down for about 1/2 an hour to amuse himself or doze thing is now dh has started giving the odd bottle this morning i asked him to give him a bottle as i'd fed him and he wouldnt settle back down and he did and ds slept untill gone 8 o'clock silly thing is i dont like the fact that the bottle obviously settled him more than me am i being stupid and should i just let dh give a morning bottle so i get some decent sleep (i have to admit it was nice) or is there reason in my madness i hate formula and bottles i only give them because i ahve to work

I get what you mean, but is up to you really, you have given the best start already so nothing to feel bad about
