Do you have a nursing chair? How high is the seat?

I'm trying to find a suitable chair (low/no arms) to bf upstairs when we move him into his own room, cheaply! I have come up with the idea of having a schoolchair, and buying it in a lower size, so I don't have to be on tiptoe. I just need to figure out which size to buy.
Alternative suggestions welcome too!

Each to their own, but I found the angle of the back had a much more profound impact on how comfortable I was. I can accomodate a reasonable range of seat heights as long as my thighs are horizontal or tipped in, but I need a very upright back. By preference I'd have a seat towards the higher end of that range, as otherwise standing up with DD gets to be a challenge (she's 19 months now and weighs nearly 2 stone).

All I can suggest is trying as many different chairs as you can (dining chairs, office chairs, children's chairs...) and try and figure out what aspect of a chair's design is most important for you and your comfort.

Yah, I don't want a VERY low chair, like an infant school age, but they are produced for 11-14 age as well, and I think that height would give me the effect I'm after. I've been looking at nursing chairs on ebay and the seat height ranges from 11" to 16", so was wondering what height others found worked best.
