Milk leaking out of nose

This used to happen when our DS was much younger and had reflux. He is now 11 months and last couple of days, he has had milk leaking out of his nose (happened a couple of times). Not much milk, but enough to spot it.
I don't think it is anything to worry about, but just wondered how common this is and what might be causing it?

It could just be that he is guzzling the milk really fast and then it sort of gets snorted out of his nose. It has happened with my DS (6 months) on occasion - he also suffered from reflux too. I would say it doesn't sound like anything to worry about - I've certainly snorted drinks out of my nose, if someone has made me laugh or something!

thanks holidaysqueen, that's what i thought too. we are now nearly on all formula and maybe the milk from the beaker was coming out too fast for him, compared to when i was breastfeeding.
ds used to leak milk that way when he sneezed/coughed/was sick, but he was totally calm about it the last couple of times it's happened.
just curious really ... thanks for responding
