Infant feeding

I nicked my nipple when shaving this morning (yes, really!) and it bloody hurts

Ok, you can stop laughing now! I was going to shave my armpit and managed to brush the razor against my nipple on the way there.... It's only a little graze but still bled a bit.

But now it's making feeding DD really quite painful - and it stings for ages afterwards.

Not really expecting any words of assistance (I'm sure none of you are quite this clumsy ) but just had to say my boob is SORE!!

Ow.
DD used to graze me with her little teeth and that really hurt too.

Sympathies - ds caught me across the nipple with a sharp nail as I was swapping sides and yee God did it ever hurt!
Have you got any Lansinoh? That might help?
What you don't want is for it to scab over as your dd will just pull the scab off when you feed.
Have a look here for info on here

Oh and it seems you are not the first to do this - see here!

Thank you for the sympathy!! Sounds like the other person did it much worse - mine stings but def not in need of ibuprofen. Guess I should be thankful for that!! I had thought of nipple cream but DD is 7 months so I haven't had to use for ages and am too cheap to buy it again ...
