Im due to return to work at the end of June. Jaz is still exc BFed, apart from the3 weeks I was in hspital.
I really dont want to give up but also dont want to give her FF either. Is 1 cows milk feed a day really bad??
I have worked out I can give her the 9am feed before I start, nip to my mums at lunch but will miss the PM feed.
I tried to express the other night but cant get out much.
Also how much do I need to express?? Shes 8 months now

You'll be able to express more when its the 'missed feed' you're expressing. I just expressed as much as would come out and gave that. I could never get much out at night, better first thing in the morning or at when work and hadn't recently fed. Is the pm feed bedtime or mid afternoon? If afternoon she might be ok with a drink of water and a snack, e.g. a yogurt/fruit, if on solids.

snack feed, as she has her last feed at 7pm.

I would give it a whirl without the cow's milk for a few weeks, and try and express at work. She should be able to manage that long between feeds, with a snack and lots of water (it'll be geting on for summer by then).

I've just started giving DD cow's milk a few weeks ago and she is 11 mo as I can no longer express (but thank feck I don't have to anymore ).
