Infant feeding

Back to work in 3 weeks and still breastfeeding 7 month old ds. How do I prepare? Any advice?

So DS is almost 7 months and I return to work part-time in 3 weeks.
Will be working two and a half days as teacher.
Problem is I am still breastfeeding DS and am wondering how to prepare over the next 3 weeks for me not being there for him.
He currently has a feed around 9.30 am and then again mid afternoonish. I'm not finding it easy to drop these feeds. He cries until latched on the falls asleep.
Any tips?
Also, the little bugger my gorgeous boy is still waking up to 4 times a night and only settles when latched on.
How will I cope doing this and working?
Poo.
Wish I'd thought about all this earlier!

I went back teaching full time when dd was 5 months. I expressed as much as I could and froze before hand. I expressed whilst at work for the next day. Never able to do in the evening. DH had her at this age and managed fine. I was very worried how she'd manage but she was fine.

Cant help you with the night thing. Dd was the same.

I thought I'd seen the last of that pump - will have to dig it out and dust it off!

I went back ft when dd was 7m
I expressed twice a day at work and split it up into three bottles for her (10am, 2pm, 4pm). She was waking (and feeding) a lot at night too and is only now (9m) beginning to slacken off.

Assume you have a nanny/CM/nursery lined up - have you done the settling-in bit? This was what I found hardest.

Also practise the mornings - work out what time you need to be at work and count backwards to see when you need to get up, then practise doing it so you can see if dd (or you) needs to go to bed earlier / you need to put a wash on at night / eat breakfast in the car etc.
Pack all bags the night before
Get good coolbags for milk and devise a foolproof transportation system - I found Axifeed bottles much better than the bags.

Re work + sleeplessness you will cope but it may not be pretty. Lots of takeaways and touche elcat till you get into the swing.
