stopped breastfeeding and painfully engorged, any advice?

Hi my dd in 8 month and i am ready to wean, gave last bfeed yesterady morning and am now hugely swollen and painful. Is it best not to express? I had cut down to one or two small feeds a day so wasn't expecting this! I can't pick my babies up its so uncomfortable!

Hot flannel over boobs or hot bath, your boobs may leak a bit but the pain will ease.
