Breast to bottle HELP !!!!! URGENT!!!

Hi really hope someone can help, my friend has got a 3 and half week old baby and is going from breast to bottle, do babies of that age need cooled boiled water as i can not remember, she has given him 4oz and she seems to think he could do with more??? Can anyone help. But please no criticisms with her going onto the bottle please.

Also any advice on sore boobs and things she could take???

I don't think a baby so young would need water, unless it was exceedingly hot.
