Breastmilk after night out!!

Im exclusive pumping, had a night out last night and drank 59 - 69 units of alcohol from 8pm.
I counted this morning ha! and stupid me didnt know there was 10 units in a shot of sourz (i had 4😶)

From what ive read it takes 1 hour for 1 unit of alcohol to leave your body.. so am i right that i shouldnt give my son any of my breastmilk for nearly 3 days?? Or am i just too hungover to work it out properly?????

Btw he isnt being starved i have a large freezer stash for these situations😆

You must have got this wrong. There's not ten units in a shot of south which is 20% proof?

A shot of 15% proof sourz is approx 0.35 of a unit per shot.

It's 10 units for a whole bottle!

Your breast milk alcohol % is the same as your blood alcohol %. Milk is made from your blood not your stomach. If you are sober enough to hold your baby your milk is fine.

I'm pissing myself that you thought you had 69 units of alcohol Grin

If you'd had 60 units of alcohol in one sitting, you'd be dead.

There's no need to pump and dump in any case, as PP said. If you're sober enough to hold the baby safely, you can feed. If you are drunk enough that you might fall asleep holding the baby or drop it, you shouldn't be feeding them, breast or bottle.

@bunglebee yeah i figured that after realising it wasn't 10 units for 1 shot 🙈

I pumped and froze for future milk baths yesterday, i dont feel confident feeding him the milk but couldnt bring myself to pout it down the sink!
