This might sound like a silly question but how do you make your bottles?
I’m confused, if you make the bottle with boiling water and you’re meant to feed straight away then what’s the point of the bottle warmer?

They're there because people do make bottles up in advance despite the advice being to make them up freshly as needed. For example making them all up in the morning and then storing in the back of the fridge until needed.

They are also used when warming expressed breast milk that's been chilled.
