Help! Very agitated bottle feeder

My DS is almost a month old. She is generally a very contented wee soul but during a few of her feeds she will gag, poo, wriggle and spit out the milk. We have tried different sized teats but to no avail. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it either, sometimes she feeds well, taking 3 or 4oz other times its a battle to get her to have 2oz. Anyone else have this problem? Would love any suggestions, thank you!

First, congratulations! Assuming that she's on the correct weight centiles etc then she's probably fine. Might not be as hungry as she first thought, might just be trying it on cos she can! Might just not want much. It takes a while for a routine to really settle down. My DS was well into month 2 before he really grasped the whole feeding thing! One thing that did work for me was sitting him up a little when feeding.

My dd did this.

It turned out she was tired (she was a bad napper) I took her to A&E in desperation in the end. She downed 7 oz in front of all docs and nurses whilst behaving perfectly.......

But it was definitely tiredness
