We've spent weeks researching and testing breast pumps and bottles in real homes with real families. Read our baby feeding bottle and breast pump reviews to find out which ones were awarded Mumsnet Best.

(5 Posts)So DD (8weeks) uses a Tommee Tippee CTN dummy. It's the only one she'll take - I've tried loads. I wanted her to like the mam ones as they're really cute, but c'est la vie. Anywho aside from them being ugly, she keeps catching the silly handle with her hands and pulling it out while sleeping. I wondered if there's another type with the same shaped teat (and hopefully a prettier look) that I could try her with... We currently have a dummy graveyard and I dint really want to add to it!
Can’t recommend a similar dummy, my baby is very picky too but for the mam ones! From what I can remember the dummy pulling out stage came around 8 weeks and my lo would get his fingers stuck behind the dummy and pull it out 😳 it was a pain, but like everything else it eventually (couple of weeks) passes.
Tahnsk for the reply. These have a ruddy handle on - as of the dummy pulling out stage isn't annoying enough without giving them help! 😂
Can you clip the little handle off with pliers or similar to stop her pulling them out?
I may give that a go!
