Infant feeding

Why does let down happen really quickly some days, and other days it seems to take ages?

DD2 gets VERY frustrated waiting for letdown, which compounds the problem, all a bit chicken and egg, but some days, it can consistently happen within about 30 seconds of latching her on.
Why this?

well I assume it is because your body lets down on its own throughout the day in tune with howe often you have been feeding so if you feed her when its just about to do it anyway then it'll happen really quick IYSWIM

hmmmm, yes, hadn't though of that. If I was more organised I would be in some sort of routine which I suppose would help.

Could be to do with your state of mind, If you are rushing around or stressing about making dinner etc.. takes longer.

OR

If your sitting with the remote controls handy and your cuppa tea n biscuits, your letdown is fast???
