Is this enough milk for a 3 month old

My baby is 3 months old today, she has four 7oz bottles in the day and usually one at night around 2am. Is this about right? I’ve heard that babies tend to sleep through when they’re getting enough calories in the day, but I feel like four 7oz bottles is enough, she isn’t hungry when she’s had them. But I hear about loads of babies sleeping through from around now or even before. Could she be hungry but just not telling me? (I know that sounds ridiculous!!)

Three months is young to sleep through IMO. And I agree with you - if she’s hungry she’ll let you know about it!

That’s ok then, I was beginning to wonder coz I keep hearing and reading about babies who sleep through! Her sleep is such a source of anxiety for me, even though she sleeps well, and I keep telling myself that everyone sleeps through eventually. I was such a bad sleeper as a child I think it’s traumatised me haha!

It is normal for babies to needmilk durring the night until they are about year. Bf babies is tends to be longer and for some babies it is longer.

It is also normal for children to not reliable sleep training for though completely and no need you at all durring the night until they are aged 7 years.

What do you mean she is not hungry when she has the bottles? Babies should be feed when they show feeding cues and they should have as much milk as they want. This means there should always be milk left in the bottle. If they finish the bottle it will probably then they should be offered more.

Only waking once durring the night for milk is amazing for you but remember everything in parenting is a phase. Her sleep with very probably get worse and that is normal. Look up the 4 month sleep regression/progression.
