2 week old nipple confusion

My LO lost too much weight during the first 5 days so MW said to express and feed using a cup. Was so panicked, my partner went out and bought an electric breast pump. Got the medela pump with the calma teet. At a week old we had managed to get the latch right as well as using the teet. But 2 weeks now and seems to be developing nipple confusion and just frustrated at the breast that the milk doesn't flow as fast.

Anyone else had nipple confusion and what did they do?
