Stopped feeding DS age 3 last october - obsessed with breast still

I stopped feeding DS when he was 3 years and 2 weeks pleased I had fed him for so long but the time was right for us.

Trouble is... he is still obsessed with my boobs lol. Now I don't have too much of an issue with as feel it is a comfort thing to DS however DH cringes and really hates it.

Not sure whether I should be trying to stop DS (this is usually when we are having a cuddle in the morning although he will attempt to jam his hand down my top if he thinks he can get away with it!) or he will stop in his own time?

Anyone got a boob obsessed ex-breastfeeding child?

Thanks

My ds was bf till about age 5 and continued to be v interested in my boobs. I never stopped him touching them and your post has just made me realise he doesn't do it any more. He's now 6.5. It was all part of cuddling up to have a story, or comfort after falling over (instead of a breastfeed). Your dh's jealousy (I'm sure it's that) is natural. I think my dh was slightly jealous but hid it well.

i stopped bfing dd in january, she was 2.6 then.she is still obsessed with my boobs aswell!
ive noticed its more of a comfort thing aswell, like when shes tired or upset, but she rubs her hand over my boobs looking for a nipple!!
i havent tried stopping her, sometimes it does hurt (am pg again and have had sore boobs) but shes been ok with it if ive said its hurting and not to do it.
but i think your ds will probably stop on his own.it'll probably just happen when hes ready!

My ds stopped breastfeeding about 3 months ago (He's 2.4yrs old). He just stopped by himself - didn''t want the boob anymore - not even in the evening . Tbh I was quite relieved. However he still likes looking & touching and occasionally tries to suck - but there is no milk left now. He thinks it is hilarious to suck and says 'mummy has button' about my nipple and 'no milk now' with a grin on his face.

I just let him suck/play if he wants to. I think it is quite cute actually.
