Sterilising bottles on holiday.

I don't usually sterilise bottles here after reading a previous thread regarding sterilising. I'm a bit more wary though of doing this in a a different country (the Canaries) due to their water quality. Am I OK to just boil bottles for 5 mins or will it be best to buy sterilising tablets. I've tried to get hold of microwave steriliser bags but cant find them anywhere locally.

Buy some disposable bottles maybe? Think they are called 'steribottles'. These are handy if out and about and individually wrapped, come in a box of 4 or 5 for about £2. Not sure how long you are going for or how many feeds you need.

Maybe buy these for when out for the day, and boil some water when in hotel. Don't see the need for sterlising tabs as well as boling.

i took milton tablets and did them in a big pan with a lid ! we were in an apartment though

if in a hotel, either a travel microwave steriliser, or steribottle probably best

We used cold water sterilising bags here or Mothercare used to do them - use one per 24 hours, microwave ones also on there. Think Tesco may also stock the microwave ones (Lindam)

the Mothercare Steriliser Bottles are amazing I love them - sterilise in a minute and a half. You can use any wide-neck teats in them too (we use Avent ones...)
