Medela swing no suction?

I am trying to pump some EBM. DS is 3 weeks old, BFing going really well, I just wanted some for the freezer. Using the Medela Swing and literally not one drop is coming out. I feel like there is no suction at all on my nipple even at the max setting, my nipple isn't moving in the cup at all and basically feels like nothing is actually on my nipple at all. Is this right for the Swing? I used a different breast pump with my first and it was different. Many thanks.

I was about to suggest the valve too. That's what usually is stuck when mine loses suction...

Thanks guys. Turns out my nipple wasn't centrally in the cone. . Had the suction up to maximum, complaining to my husband that nothing was happening and shifted position a bit and my nip obviously slipped into the right position and suddenly stretched to about a metre long.... I hit the ceiling and after I'd been scraped off managed to express 4oz.
