My ds is just short of 10mths old - he kind of weaned himself down to 2 bottles a day, one morning, one night which I will continue until he decides he doesn't want them anymore really. I will swop from formula to cow's milk though at 12mths - it's cheaper for a start!

Ds seems to be going through an 'off his food' stage a bit too so I'll watch this thread with interest.

You dont have to change it overnight! I would imagine your DD is having 3 meals a day now anyway so is drinking less?

Just do it gradually over a period of time. Cows milk is cheaper than formula, but, no need to change suddenly unless its an issue.

she always had breakfast which was cereal, toast, water. then later yogurt or banana.her lunchtime nap shed drink 8oz formula.teatime was whatever we have, bit of fruit,8oz formula at bed, then when she wakes at night she wakes for hours only way to settle her is more milk.this was same routine for many months.now she will drink formula but wont eat her main meal, surely she should be more hungry all the energy shes using....never sits still.all in all she could have four bottles a day....
