Google Advertising Formula ...

Go to google, type in "Breastfeeding" in the search engine. I'm getting www.milupa-aptamil.co.uk/ as the first advert, with the tagline: "Breast feeding advice from experts live online now."

If you go to the site, you can join a club to get live advice from experts. Am quite and about this. Ok, if you type in "formula", then fine, links to formula companies should come up in the adverts, but surely not if you type in breastfeeding?

Yep, I get that as well. Clearly they are paying for this - and yet people continue to believe that a) advertising doesn't work and b) the formula companies are helping out mothers who can't breastfeed! I have often wondered what advice I would get from the milupa/C&G experts if I were to call and say 'I'm feeding my baby every 3 hours, he isn't gaining weight, and I don't think my milk is good enough for him'.

And Google do have a policy about advertising (albeit a weird one) - they won't accept advertising for beer or hard liquor, but wine is fine.

Complain to Google, cite the relevant UK laws.
