Breastfeeding/nap routine?

I have a four month old baby and would love to know what your daily routines are? Particularly the evenings as my little one always seems to fall asleep whilst breastfeeding in the evening and I can never get her to take enough milk to make her last a bit longer, which means she is up several times a night.

I have a four month old DS. Our routine is as follows:

Usually up at 8am, bf.

Naps and feeding through the day, no routine whatsoever. I feed on demand. Try and avoid naps longer than 2 hours as I worry the impact it will have at night, whilst trying to balance him getting enough sleep to not be grouchy.

DS is getting tired by 6.30pm. Bath, gro bag and feed, in cot in his own room asleep by 7. Usually falls asleep feeding which doesn't bother me. If he's fed before his bath he normally will only take one boob at bed time, if not then it's two.

He stirs at 11 for dummy.

Then nights feeds are usually approx 1am, 3am and 5am. Then stirs a lot between 6-8 so often take him to bed with me. If I'm lucky then he will only feed at 2 and 5 before getting up at 8. But this doesn't happen often.

I wish the night feeds were less but it only takes ten mins and he goes back to sleep straight away so I'm not up for very long. I'm kind of hoping that he will just sleep longer, especially when we start weaning. I'm quite pleased he can do 6-7 hours at the start of the night without milk though.

At that age I found that feeding more often during the day (rather than trying to give more at bedtime) helped with night sleeping. He was still feeding at least once in the night until around 6 months though.

I do everything on demand but it forms a rough pattern.
8am - wake up and bf
10 to 10.30 am bf then nap
12 bf
1.30 bf then nap 2 ish
3.30/4 bf
Short nap 5 ish
Several short feeds 6-7.30 when its bath, last feed and bed (asleep by 8)
2 night wakes - 1am and 5 am roughly.

This is a rough guide as it varies irl.

Can you do a split feed in the evening. At 5pm a shortish feed to keep her going through the bathtime and then a full feed before bed?
