Gaviscon for mega pukey ebf baby?

Anyone have any experience of this? DD (14 weeks) is a sicky baby. I use about 30-40 bibs per day catching the sick that pours from her on a constant basis. The GP prescribed infant Gaviscon this week but having picked up the prescription I can't really tell how you're meant to get it into them and when, as it says with every feed but not more than 6 times per day, and she feeds more than that!

Would appreciate hearing about anybody else's experiences :)

Is she unhappy? DS2 was very pukey but not bothered and gained weight so I didn't medicate.

If she is suffering or not gaining could you just mix with a little water and syringe in 6x a day?

my ds (12wks) is on gaviscon. Either mix with water in a syringe to make a paste, or mix into expressed milk via syringe or bottle. I give it four times a day before feeds (morning, lunchtime, evening, bedtime), I gave it during the night when he woke too but he doesn't wake in the night.

It definitely has made him less sick but not stopped the sickness completely we still go through 10+ bibs a day. He also gets a bit constipated with it so watch out for that.

My gp also suggested overfeeding may be causing the sickness and obvious discomfort. he suggested to try a dummy after feeds rather than offering boob again straight away, it's worked for us. He's definitely more settled and if he really is hungry he will refuse tgte dummy.
