Help!!

My ds has been teething and chewing my nipples recently, this has now stopped but it's left my right nipple in a mess Hmm

It's cracked and bleeding and quite frankly, fucking painful! I can't express and I'm struggling to feed off that side as it's so painful. He won't take a bottle with bm in, only water.

I'm at my wits end, he's nearly 9 mo and I'm on the verge of trying him with formula to give me a break Confused

It's been like this for over a week, even with Lanisoh and sorting out his latch (it got a little lazy but he's back to his proper latch now)

Does anyone have a way to help me heal and take away the pain??

Multimam compresses are THE BOMB, especially if you put them in the fridge before applying, I found they were the only thing that worked when I got a bad chomp from teething child. Very soothing and help healing. Also recommend necking a Nurofen before feeds if it's really bad, it won't do either of you any harm (unless you can't take Nurofen for another reason).

I've also heard good things about Jelonet for moist wound healing but other posters may have more info.

Jelonet was v helpful to me when I had damaged nipples. Plus it's v cheap :)

That is an advantage - the Multimams are pricey (though I used to pick them up cheap any time Boots did a baby 3 for 2 offer).
