Hand expressing in pregnancy

I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant. Just out of idle curiosity, I checked to see if I could hand express anything this evening. Without much effort, I got a few drops of very thick, clear liquid. I guess it must sort of be colostrum. Does anyone know if that sounds about right for this stage of pregnancy?

I leaked a bit in pregnancy much later than 24wks and I had an abundance of milk so I don't think it has any bearing. Your hormones and the suckling action after birth is what encourages milk.
Don't worry about it now. The first milk is very thick and fatty.

I dont think there is any rules. I never leaked anything in pregnancy and don't leak much now either, not even when very full, but I am EBFing at 15 weeks and baby growing very well.

Sorry, I didn't explain very comprehensively due to having been Eurovisioned last night.

My 2 year old insisted my milk had "all gone" a fee weeks ago, and I haven't been able to hand express a drop for ages. But it seems to be back, if in a different form.

I guess if my 2 year old starts doing yellow poos, I'll know the colostrum really is there...
