Hello wise MNers
DD has been using the medela calma bottles for about 7 months now. We were attempting to breastfeed and these were the only teats that didn't make her projectile vomit across the room. The medela calma teat creates a vacuum and the baby has to suck in order to get some milk.
I'm just wondering whether it's possible to move onto other brands of bottles or is it not worth the hassle? I'm worried the flow will be too fast but then she might not get used to a cup (and be throwing drinks all over herself as an adult )
She is okay with a beaker (we have a Tommee Tippee free flow) - drinks a bit but often just spits out the water. I'm now wondering whether it's related to the bottle.
Any tips or views would be great.
