Hi all - I'm new to mumsnet so please forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong place!

I'm BF'ing my daughter and would like to get a nice BF'ing top as I'm in public a lot and trying to be discreet!

The Frugi ones look nice and are 100% cotton which is great. My question is sizing: I am size 14-16 post pregnancy but Frugi sizing is medium (12-14) or large (16-18).

I don't know whether to size up or down - have any of you tried these and have any input? I'd love to hear. Thanks in advance xxx

I've not seen the Frugi tops but I think I'd go for bigger rather than smaller as it will be more comfy.

size down. I have a dress and it's big

Their sizing varies a bit - I have a dress from about four years ago and it's pretty roomy, and another from a year or so later that's quite snug. Why not order both sizes and return the one that doesn't fit?

Also for nice BF clothes I cannot recommend Boob Design highly enough. I have a good few of their tops and dresses and the ones from BF DS1 are still in perfect nick for feeding DS2. Really easy to feed in and look nice.

This is the actual company website, though you can get them from other shops too (if you order from Boob themselves the postage is pretty hefty as it's coming from Sweden):
shop.boobdesign.com/en/4/nursing-wear

(if you do go with Boob the sizing is normally pretty true, but don't get the Before and After ones unless you're actually pregnant/just postpartum as they're more like maternity tops)

I haven't tried Frugi, but I defo second Boob Design (ahem) being fantastically convenient bf tops -- I lived in them day and night! Great for both warmth and modesty.

I also found breastvest really useful for wearing under normal tops.
