I have a biter - help!

DD is 7m next week and has two incredibly sharp bottom teeth. She has, I'm the last few days started biting my nipple. She only really goes it when almost asleep, so pulling her off wakes her up. We currently feed to sleep, so this is not great. I have tried telling her "no", but she just laughs!

I'm starting to really dread feeding and my nipples are really sore. I really don't want to get to the point where I have to stop BF Hmm

Any ideas?

Think biting is common at this age but you can get through it. One thing that works for some is to try feeding lying down for a couple of days. Apparently they find it harder to bite. Have you read the biting info on kellymom too?

A BFC might have a few more suggestions, if you haven't got the numbers just google National Breastfeeding Helpline Smile
