My DD seems to be going through the 3 week growth spurt! I dunno how my boobies have any milk left with her constant feeding im surprised they haven't been sucked dry!!
I currently have numb bum from sitting letting her feed! Doesn't look like I will get much else done today! Just as well it's minging and rainy outside!
How long does a growth spurt normally last? Couple of days?

varies from baby to babie but couple of days - a week generally I think. this is what box sets were invented for Grin

DS is 4 weeks now and we had about 3/4 nights of it. I didn't know where he was putting the milk in the end, he must have hollow legs!

I can vividly remember this!!! It gets better. Honest! Tust the process. Your body is producing enough milk for your little one. Just boosting your supply. It will only last for a couple do days, so get lots of drinks, tv remote and snacks to hand and settle in. I can remember not getting to pee til my husband came in from work, as little hawk would wail like a good 'un every time he came off the breast. (as a first time mum, I felt I couldn't leave him to cry like that even for the short time it took me to run up the stairs to the loo!) lots of lansinoh cream because you will probably get a little bit sore, if your babe is anything like my hungry Horace! He would feed one side, come off cry, then want the other side, repeat for the next 6 or 7 hours!!!!!! Ride out the storm, there is light at the end of the tunnel, your babe is getting plenty, it is not a lack of supply on your part, all completely normal. Good luck! It will settle down in a few days. You are doing a great job!!!

Hey ladies sorry for late reply!! Lasted for couple of days but we are past it now! Think she must have hollow legs the amount she was guzzling down!
Wasn't too bad tbh good excuse for lots of cuddles! But know exactly what you mean about having to make a mad dash for the loo in between! Least I know what to expect for next time, il be more prepared with snacks and box sets lined up! Ha!
