Help! Pisition to clear a blocked duct?

I think I have a blocked duct, on the side of the breast near the armpit, its sore, a bit hard and the skin is red. How do I position DS to best drain it? Is it his chin that needs to point towards the dodgy bit? He's 1 so pretty easy to feed from funny angles.

Yep, chin.

Some say it won't help as ducts don't go in a straight line, but I found it worked wonders. What I did was lay DD on the bed and kneel over her, with hr chin pointed towards the blockage. Cleared it straight away!

I had this with ds last week (though he's only 4wks so a slight difference!).

I found that rugby ball hold helped.

Thanks, rugby ball works even better when they are big enough to sit next to you on the sofa facing the opposite way. Thanks ladies.
