so my 12 wo DD had her 2nd injections yday and today she has had a very short feed since 4am. The nurse said she could be off food with her 1st ones, but as they didn't bother her then she said she should be fine. She's really twisty and fighting sleep constantly. I gave her calpol last night (not that she liked it haha) and it seemed to chill her out for all of 10 mins.

Had a good night with her once she was finally asleep but she hasn't slept or fed properly since 4am (although I've managed to get her to sleep now, eventually!)

And tips/advice/anecdotes would be greatly appreciated

:)

Not much advice really, just wanted to say I'm sure your DD will wake up hungry soon (she probably has already). My ds went off the boob for a day after his injections. Be careful though, I ended up with mastitis!

She still hasn't :( but thank you, I will get the pump sterilised!

Did he feed at all on that day or just snacked?

hmm, well my ds was drinking again by the end of the day (we had them in the morning). I'm sure it's still normal though, and she will eat when she's feeling a bit better. If she's still asleep could you try gently waking her a little and seeing if she will take some?

My 12 wo DD had her jabs yesterday and has been very tired. We had screaming last night & an unsettled night. She hadn't fed since 6 (although she fed frequently last night) so when she stirred in her sleep at 11 I grabbed her and she took a feed. She went straight back to sleep though (now on a 2 hour morning nap!?). This level of sleepiness in the day is unheard of for us but its better than the tired screaming I had again earlier.

Maybe grab her for a sleepy feed if you think you can/she needs it? Otherwise I would let her sleep and pump for comfort. I'm sure she will make up for it later.

I am assuming at 12wo they have reserves so one off day doesn't matter too much?

DD had the 16 week jabs yesterday and I am struggling to get anything into her. Bad night too- really annoying as the night before last she slept through for the first time!

Thank you for all your comments, 2 long sleeps ad 3 gigantic poos later and she drained both boobs and has been happy ever since! Hopefully tonight will still be ok.....

My DD slept for about two days after her first jabs!
