Hi

My 18 wk DS has not pooed for 6 days. usually goes once a day- fairly imprssively. We've started mixed feeding ( one bottle of FF at night) but bF otherwise. He drinks maybe 4 oz at night of FF.

He is starting to fidget like he's really uncomfortable. He passes a lot of smelly wind...

He doesn't like taking water.Haven't really tried anything else.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I found that a little diluted orange juice helped no-end with this but it was a few years ago so I'd check current thinking before doing that.

Don't think that orange juice is recommended anymore, it should be just milk until 6 months.

Have you tried baby massage, a bath and no nappy time?

Sorry about this (TMI) but gp told me wind is a good sign as it shows there isn't a blockage...

The "I Love You" tummy massage is supposed to help - there are various videos on Youtube.
