DS fighting feeding

Just want to moan really. DS is 18 weeks and he had a cold over christmas, with a blocked nose. Ever since then (I don't know if it's connected or is just a developmental thing) he has been fighting feeding, particularly on the right boob. He scratches me, he pulls off, he twists his head, pulling my nipples about. It used to be so lovely, and right now it seems we both hate it. Coupled with 4mnth sleep regression and I am not a happy bunny at the moment. I hope it goes back to normal soon.

Snap! I found using the rugby hold when feeding on the right helped, if DD was fighting that side because it was harder to breathe or she had sinus pain, keeping her the same way up as if she was on the left seemed to help.

I hope your DS gets well soon. DD has had it just over a week, and is still in 4mth sleep hell too, now 20 weeks old.

I don't think so tiktok, he seems fine in himself now. A tiny bit snotty, but nothing other than that. I think it's a combination of the cold he did have and everything else in the world being more interesting. JTD, I do rugby ball old a lot on the right as well, it does help a lot.
