Dd very nearly 6 mo has been having occasional bits of banana etc as we wanted to do blw. Yesterday she had some purée for the first time and surpurised us all by wolfing down a huge amount with gusto (straight after a bf!)
today's nappy was fully formed - again I was quite surprised (maybe I know nothing :) ) but now I'm wondering whether I need to offer her water in addition to bf because of the solids?
I didn't want to post in weaning because I'm not trying to wean her - she's just getting the taste of food iykwim. I really want to bf her for the majority of feeds up to 1 and to continue well beyond that. I have been a bit taken aback by her enthusiasm for solids and I'm quite happy to be led by her. A but confused tbh. Any advice from experienced bfers?
