Help with word press

hi, im trying to set up a blog and webpage for my daughter.

we have bought our domain name
we have subscribed to bluehost web hosting and downloaded wordpress

now what?

do we have to buy a theme? is ther not a free blog template we can use? all help appreciated

1. Did you run installation?
   
2. Are you able to log in through admin panel?
   
3. If 1-2 done you could go to wordpress.org & choose a lot of free themes and plugins. But before choosing you need to know what you want to have in the end. Not only the look of the side but functions as well.
