I've been feeling really incensed recently about the lot of mothers in general, and working mothers in particular. It annoys me greatly that the cost of childcare is so high (esp when you take into account what the staff actually get paid!) and there is no help for any of us. I've read stories of qualified accountants working nights shelf stacking in Tesco (nothing wrong with shelf stacking but then this poor lady had to look after her children all day with no sleep!) just so they can earn enough money to survive.
