I did it! I set myself a blogging challenge for 2011 and I have just completed it!

I am sorry, I just cannot contain the urge to tell everyone that I actually did it! I actually persevered through 111 craft and DIY projects throughout the year, saw them through to completion despite finding it really hard to finish anything, and photographed and blogged about them all!

It was no mean feat, for me, and I feel a huge sense of relief now that the final project has been published.

I may just do a blog giveaway to celebrate.

Ooh - I just breathed a little sigh of happiness when I started reading your blog. I love discovering new creative blogs and I'm looking forward to having a proper read through yours. I sent the link to my sister too, with the message, "You'll enjoy this one!"

What an achievment to complete all those projects. As a starter-non-finisher, I am rather in awe.

That's brilliant - congratulations! And also thank you for doing it. I've loved your projects and I'm really looking forward to trying a few of them out myself. Your blog's such a lovely read, I'm always pleased when the alert pops into my inbox. :)

Congratulations! I love your blog, although I've not been brave enough to try to make anything yet.

Will you carry on blogging?

Thank you everyone for such lovely comments! Smile

I have been away for the weekend so didn't manage to get together a blog giveaway post yet, but I will do that soon, I promise.

I will definately be continuing to blog and do projects in 2012, I just haven't set a numerical target this time, but I want to try harder things like woodwork and finishing the king size quilt I started months ago (I have never made a quilt and it is daunting).

Maybe ou could have the challenge of 20 craft projects you avoid and 12 new crafts for 2012 Wink

Report
overmydeadbody · 02/01/2012 11:21

ooooh good idea Soupy, but would that mean I have to actually try 20 crafts that I usually avoid? That would be scary.

Or 20 projects from crafts you would generally avoid - you could do more than one project per craft :o

scrapbooking comes to mind then. And sugar crafting.

I have started a project that will take me ten years to complete and unveil. Not really bloggable till 2022 Grin
